Ferrari Enzo designer opens new Californian studio

Ken Okuyama, the Japanese born designer behind striking cars like the Ferrari Enzo and Maserati Birdcage, has opened a new design studio located in Southern California. In addition to a previous stint at Pininfarina, Okuyama was also the former transportation design chairman of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and last year his self-titled design firm unveiled the K.O 7 roadster.
His latest project is the Southern Californian design studio, which has been established in the former 13,500 square-foot Mercedes Benz Advanced Design Studio.
