Rizk Auto breathes modern life into classic Aston Martin DBR2

With a tag line like “Yesterday engineered for tomorrow”, you know Rizk Auto is up to something special – and one look at their version of the 1957 Aston Martin DBR2 LeMans racer puts proof to the claim.
On the outside, the car is all CNC machined stainless steel and aerospace grade carbon fiber, as is the monocoque chassis. Carbon-Nomex body panels wrap carbon fiber around a Nomex aramid material that is both tough and fire retardant. It also adds a high degree of stiffness without adding much weight.
The decidedly retro-future-race cockpit is actually a highly advanced piece of modern engineering, with a range of adjustability for the steering wheel and pedal assembly that were never contemplated for the original.
