Saab Restarts Production, Future Remains Uncertain
Posted on 31. May, 2011 by admin.
Saab has a trio of decent products now in showrooms, the latest-generation 9-5, a brand new 9-4X crossover and the recently updated 9-3, although the latter is soon to be replaced by a completely redesigned model next year. But given the brand’s lack of stability over the years, including a serious lack of funds, consumers understandably…

2012 Hyundai Genesis priced at $34,200
Posted on 31. May, 2011 by admin.
Now in its third year on the market, the Hyundai Genesis is getting some enhancements along with a price increase of $1,200 for the 2012 model year. It will start at $34,200, excluding $850 for delivery.
The price increase seems worth it because now you get a new 333-horsepower V-6 powertrain and eight-speed automatic transmission, which is rated at 29 mpg highway, for the additional cost.
The 4.6-liter V-8 model cost $44,500 ($1,500 more than last year), and the new 5.0 R-Spec model starts at $46,500. The R-Spec gets a new 429-hp V-8 engine and other performance enhancements. Each model also comes with the new eight-speed automatic.
The 2012 Genesis’ suspension has been refined, and there’s an updated front end, adding standard LED daytime running lights and mirror puddle lamps to all models. The braking system has also been improved on all models. A lane departure warning system is also available for the first time.
For additional information on the changes, check out our preview of the model from the 2011 Detroit auto show.

It also doesn’t help when even everyday parking maneuvers are…
