NHTSA Investigates GM, Toyota Vehicles for Door Fires

Some 309,000 GM vehicles and 830,000 Toyota vehicles are under investigation by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for driver's side door fires, according to MSNBC. Certain model-year 2007 Toyota Camrys and RAV4s seem to be at risk of developing door fires that originate from the power window master switch, according to NHTSA's filing. Six consumers have complained about the issue on those Toyota models already, says NHTSA.
