2012 Fiat 500 Earns IIHS Top Safety Pick

The 2012 Fiat 500 has been named a Top Safety Pick in the mini-car category by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. To earn the award, a vehicle must receive the top rating of Good in front, side, rear and rollover crash tests and have an electronic stability system, which is now standard on 2012 models. In the 500’s crash tests, measurements taken from the crash-test dummy’s neck and chest show a low risk of injury.
