Chrysler’s New 6.4-Liter V-8 Might Not Power Ram Heavy Duty Pickups

The 6.7-liter V-8 is the quietest diesel engine we've driven in a pickup, thanks to the engine's new piston design, fuel-injection strategy and special acoustic covers that sit over the injectors on each cylinder bank to quiet noises from the fuel system as well as to lower overall NVH from the engine.
