Recall Alert: 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor

Mitsubishi has issued a recall for 56,113 Endeavor vehicles from the 2004 model year, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration . These include vehicles originally sold or currently registered in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Washington, D.C.

New Study Has Ford Overtaking Toyota in Quality Perception

On the heels of its latest mass recall , a study released Wednesday reports Toyota fell to seventh place for 2010 models — from second place in 2009 — among 20 mainstream brands in perceived quality. Ford, meanwhile, moved from eighth place last year to sixth for 2010.

So it seems appropriate that on the same day that VW announced the Final Edition of the New Beetle at the 2009 L.A.
