Sources Say: GMC Sierra Denali HD Dually Planned

If a high-end 2011 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 Heavy Duty with two rear wheels is good, then four wheels must be better. GM sources say an even heavier duty dually version of the Denali is planned for introduction later this year. The addition of the upscale Denali trim for the latest Sierra HD was announced Wednesday at the 2010 Work Truck Show but it will only be available as a crew cab, four-wheel drive three-quarter-ton model with a choice of either the standard 6.0-liter V-8 gas engine or the 6.6-liter Duramax V-8 turbodiesel.

Recent incidents with 2004-2009 model year Toyota Prius hybrids have shed new light into the recall process of nearly 6 million Toyota and Lexus cars in the U.S.   Police investigators, Toyota and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration are looking into Monday’s incident involving a 2008 Prius traveling over 90 mph with a stuck pedal in California.
